This is the process I do for painting my sketches in Photoshop… As you can see, I start with the rough sketch, followed by a base paint bottom layer. Once I have added some basic paint, I then start with another layer on top to which I am now ready to start painting the detail to bring the piece to life.
One of my mentors rules of thumb is this simnple statement... "Strong drawing gives your painting a strong STRUCTURE."
